"Pharaoh and His Hard Heart" Exodus 9:1-12

The fifth and sixth plagues come on Egypt with clear distinction between the Egyptians and the Hebrews. God is demonstrating His great power over all of the idols of Egypt and the tyranny of Pharaoh. These judgments continue to come on them because Pharaoh was holding on to those who belonged to God. As believers we must remember that we are God's prized possession and we are free from all that held us in slavery to serve Him alone. Despite all the suffering that Pharaoh and his people are going through he stubbornly hardens his heart against God.
