"He Would Not Listen" Exodus 7:1-13

Moses and Aaron once again come before Pharaoh and display for him the miracle of the staff turning into a serpent. Pharaoh's magicians were able to do a similar trick but Aaron's staff consumed all of theirs. Still Pharaoh hardened his heart just as God said he would. All of this was part of how the Lord was preparing to bring judgment on the tyranny and evil of Egypt and deliver His people from slavery. Quite often it is difficult for us to understand the working of the Almighty but it is not for us to question the almighty and all knowing God. We are simply too finite to understand the infinite.
