God wants His children to understand that He alone is in control of all things. He is the one who stirs up the sea and causes the waves to roar all for the designed purpose of showing us our need for Him. We fall into a drunken state of illusion when we think this life is all about us and what we want to do. He is our only sure foundation, our rock, our Savior and our righteousness. He calls us to wake up and remember who's we are and who we are.
