"Be Gracious to Us" Isaiah 33:2

In the midst of turmoil Isaiah reminds the people that God is going to fulfill all of His promises. They were being oppressed by kings whose language they didn't understand but one day they would see the King of Glory. All of this is a gift of God's grace. He is our Lord, the only one with the right to rule over us. He is so gracious to us in giving to us what we could never deserve. What we needed more than anything else is life and so He gave us His Son. Grace is far more than a what, it is Jesus and in Him we stand.
