The Lord gives us the gift of righteousness through faith in the finished work of the cross. Because we are righteous our lives are to reflect this in how we live in the world. Knowing we are His beloved children and righteous transforms our desires. When we allow Him to live His life through us it is going to look, act and sound like Him. We must not allow ourselves to be distracted by the world or the things of the world but allow our King and His Kingdom to be the desire of our souls.
