"God's Love Fights For Us" Isaiah 63:9-10

In times of affliction it is easy to feel all alone and wonder where God is or why He is allowing us to go through this suffering. We are reminded that when we are afflicted He is always with us. It is difficult for us to understand the wrath of God because we miss understand the true meaning of love. God's love is in perfect harmony with His justice and wrath. They are all true expressions of love. True love is not permissive of that which is harmful to our beloved. True love does not turn a blind eye to evil and injustice. True love is always sacrificial in acting in the best interest of the beloved even if that means opposing the beloveds self-destructive behaviors. God is so committed in His love for us that He always fights for us even if that means fighting us.
