As we live in community we understand that each of us are called to seek the good of others. We no longer assert our own desires but seek what is in the best interest of others. Submitting ourselves to one another is all about living an interdependent life in the body and this extends to our families. While a couple is one flesh the husband and wife support and sacrifice one another and the wife trust her husbands spiritual leadership of the home. It is interdependent living in Christ as our source.
