"The Nile Turns to Blood" Exodus 7:14-25

The first plague to come on Egypt was God turning the Nile River into blood. Pharaoh had caused the death of many young Hebrews by having the baby boys into the Nile. God is showing that He truly is the Lord God Almighty but Pharaoh continues to harden his heart. Pharaoh's magicians were able to duplicate in a minor way the miracle of turning water into blood. We must never forget that demonic forces can perform lesser miracles. God's miracles are always delivering His people and Satan's power is always to enslave. We see some important truths here as Moses and Aaron obey the Lord and Pharaoh refuses to listen to the Lord.
