When faced with adversity Israel began to look to Egypt for deliverance instead of the Lord. They looked for their own solutions instead of consulting the Lord. All the solutions of men are just flesh and not Spirit. We who are the children of God must never forget that our security is not to be found in the world but in the Lord our God who has given us the beautiful promise that He will never leave us or forsake us.
