"Fellowship with the Father and the Son" 1 John 1:2-4

This passage shows us that have fellowship with other believers, the Son and the Father is the great privilege of being born-again. Eternal life is not a what but a who! It is to have the very life of God in us. To live in a new relationship with God so that He is life itself. It isn't first of all about Heaven and Hell as destinations but life and death. Because of sin were dead to God and He gave His life for us and to us that He might live in us. He did this that we might experience true joy which is far different than happiness.
