"Grace & Peace" Colossians 1:1-2

Paul begins this epistle in the same way he does many others.  He addresses them as saints and faithful brothers.  God Himself is the one to establish our identity as members of His family and therefore holy all as a gift of grace by faith in His perfect one-time sacrifice.  This gives us peace with God and the peace of God.
