"Grandchildren are the Crown of the Aged" Proverbs 17:1-13

Solomon shares with us the blessings of the righteous as opposed the folly of the wicked.  The one who mocks the poor insults his maker. Grandchildren are the crown of the aged. That is a true blessing and a delight.  All of these truths given come natural to those who have given their lives to God and received His salvation and indwelling life.
