"Absalom Rebels" 2 Samuel 13-21

After killing his brother Amnon Absalom spends years in exile.  When he finally returns to Jerusalem, he continues to feel the displeasure of the king.  he develops a plan to steal the hearts of the people of Israel and eventually has himself anointed King in Hebron.  David didn't want there to be a civil war in Jerusalem so he flees across the Jordon with those who were loyal to Him. there is a great battle in which the Lord fights for David and Absalom is killed.
