"Redemption and Forgiveness" Colossians 1:13-14

Even though we may not have realized it we were all under the reign of darkness and we all sinned.  Because of God's great love for us, He sent His Son to go to the cross and fully satisfy the holy demands of God.  He pursues us and draws Himself and when we are born-again we are transferred to a new king and kingdom.  From death to life and darkness to light.  He redeems us and forgives us completely all as a gift of grace.  Now we live in alignment with our new identity as saints and beloved children.  That is what it is to walk or stay in step with the Spirit.
