"When You Contend With God" Job 39-41
"When You Contend With God" Job 39-41
As the Lord continues to ask Job questions, he admits that he should just put his hand over his mouth and remain silent. The Lord ask Job about his understanding of nature and animal life including some creatures that aren't clear to us. Then He declares that He alone is the owner of all things. In the beginning Job was described as a man who was blameless, upright, feared God and turned from evil. The problem was that when he was falsely accused in went into a strong self-defense, proud of his standing and was actually fighting against God in it all.
