"They That Go Down to the Sea in Ships" Psalm 107:23-42

In this passage the psalmist describes those who go down to the sea in ships experience the wonders of God.  God allows the storms to come up to bring them to wits end.  It is when we come to wits end that we see the deliverance of God and experience the steadfast love of the Lord.  If we want to see the wonderous workings of God we have to be willing to leave our comfort zone.  At the end of self-sufficiency we experience the sufficiency of Christ.
