As Israel leaves Mt. Sinai they continue to hold onto the mindset of slaves and they openly complain to God about their circumstances. It's important that their every step was being led by the Lord. The Lord them to places of abundance and places of need trying to show them that in times of need they were to come to Him with their needs instead of complaining about their current conditions and forgetting all of the troubles in slavery. As followers of Christ we need to remember that the Lord is with us and despite difficult circumstances we have direct access to the Lord of our provision.
