"What Does My Lord Say?" Joshua 5:13-15

As Joshua prepares to lead Israel in conquest a man appears before him with a drawn sword. When Joshua enquires if he is there for Israel or their adversaries, he identifies himself as the commander of the Lord's army. Joshua immediately falls down and worships as he is told he is on holy ground. The Lord had promised them that He would go with them and fight for them and before Joshua is a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ. Joshua's question is simple as one worshipping their Lord, "What does my Lord say?" We are to humbly submit to all our Lord desires to do in and through us, for we are bondservants of Christ.
