"You are a God of Seeing" Genesis 16

In this chapter we read the story of how Sarai decides to help God fulfill His promises and it all goes wrong. She gives her maid to Abram to produce a child and it all goes sideways. Hagar is fleeing from Sarai and we see how God pursues her in the wilderness. Hagar discovers some wonderful things about the God of Abram in the process. He is the one who listens to our afflictions, He is a God who sees, He is the One who looks after us. We can trust all of His promises and must remember He doesn't need our help. He's working even in our afflictions.
