Samuel reminds the people to stay faithful in their service to the Lord for all other things leave us empty. To know the Lord is to have all we will ever need. He is our deliverance, savior, provider. Nothing else can give us what He gives to us. We need to remember the great things he has done for us and not allow ourselves we distracted by the world or the things of the world but to seek first the Kingdom of God, knowing we can trust Him and His provision.
