The Lord's battle plan for Jericho was an untraditional one but it required faith on the part of Israel and was a great demonstration of the power of God. When the walls of Jericho came down by the power of God the city was devoted to destruction only the prostitute Rahab and her family were saved. There are many lessons for believers in this passage that demonstrate for us hearing God and obeying.
