"I Know You By Name" Exodus 33:17-23

The Lord's response to Moses' intercession was to remind him of the favor he had with God and he was known by name. They were walking in a relationship of intimate knowing. Moses had a heart to grow in a deeper experience of this intimate relationship with God. So, God the Father gives him a very special experience in which he sees the glory of God in a fuller way. At the same time God reminds Moses that He alone is sovereign and He shows mercy and grace to whom He chooses.
