"Take Us For Your Inheritance" Exodus 34:1-9

The Lord calls Moses back up to Mt. Sinai with two new tablets of stone so that He can replace the original tablets Moses broke in anger when seeing the people worship the golden calf. While in the presence of God, Moses is told of the everlasting love and forgiveness He is willing to give His people. Those who refuse Him will suffer judgment and curse for up to four generations. In the New Covenant we know the Lord has broken the curse, taken our sin and provided perfect forgiveness. Moses recognizes that the people are hard hearted and stubborn and pleads for the Lord to go with them and receive them as His inheritance.
