"Bitter to Sweet" Exodus 15:22-27

The Lord is leading Israel by the pillar of cloud and fire on the route that He Himself has chosen. He isn't taking them on the quickest route but the route He has designed for them to teach them that He is their sufficiency in all things. As they begin the journey the first stop has no water and when they arrive to the second destination there is water they are unable to drink it because the waters were bitter. He performs another miracle and turns the water sweet. This was a test for the people to see the greatness of their God in every circumstance. When we find ourselves in difficult circumstances we can trust His promises.
