Samson in now an adult goes down to the Philistines to find a wife. His parents didn't understand why he was taking a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines instead of his own people but God was going to use it bring about an offense to begin bringing judgment on the Philistines. It was also a demonstration for Samson to see the great strength the Holy Spirit was giving. When he went down to make the marriage contract he killed a lion with his bare hands as though it was nothing and sometime later when he goes down for the marriage feast he finds that bees and made a hive in the carcass of the lion and he takes from it honey.
