The Lord brought Israel into the wilderness before Mt. Sinai to prepare them to receive the 10 Commandments. In preparation God gives Moses a message for the people to remember how He has cared for them in delivering them and the promises He is making to them if they will only obey His voice and keep covenant with Him.
