"Let the Power of the Lord Be Great" Numbers 14:13-19

When the Lord tells Moses' He's going to destroy the people and start over and make a new nation from Moses, he immediately intercedes to the Lord. He recognizes it was the Lord's great power that had delivered them. He quoted to the Lord the word he received defining the Lord as slow to anger, steadfast in love and ready to forgive. Moses pleads with the Lord concerned about the reputation of the Lord amongst the nations. We must remember that the Lord never feels it necessary to explain Himself. Moses ask the Lord to once again pardon the people and show His steadfast love.
