To be a hearer of Jesus' words but not a doer is to build a life a faulty foundation. He tells us that when we hear and apply these truths to our lives it is building life on a solid foundation. He is the rock on which disciples are to build their lives. He gave His life to us so that He would be our source for all and we have the great privilege of living in a responsive relationship with His divine presence.
